Relic Armor+1/+2 in future content?

Was curious if we would be able to upgrade our Relic Armor in the future? In FFXI we could. I think it would be great to add in some new content where we would have to get the -1 Armor pieces and then some type of Tomes (Like Dyna Currency) to make a +1.

As for the +2 maybe not the same as XI, But that would be further down the road.

I think Yoshi p said the Real AF2 gear is coming out in 2.2 or 2.3. He showed the gear in a live litter not so long ago.

I honestly think it was too early to introduce relics to begin with... It's not like the lvl cap is going to stay at 50, yeah the il is 90 but you know their going to release new weapons an everything later on. Are they just going to bump up the relics to be stronger than new weapons and make the new weapons useless? Hope not... i dont think relics are going to be as special anymore like they were in XI :/

Relic Armor+1/+2 isn't the same thing as AF2 which Yoshi P showed (In FFXI AF2 was Relic Armor So...). What I mean is in FFXI Relic Gear dropped from Dynamis and to upgrade it to +1, You need the -1 Armor Piece and depending on the gear close to 30 pieces of currency. So in FFXIV Relic Armor and AF2 are different sets of gear.

Easy fix (they already do except for 2.1) is they add harder higher level mobs/bosses and gear evens out. I think before I quit FFXI some of the Delve weapons/gear were ilvl120.

This is something most likely to happen in the long-distant future if they wanted to emulate FFXI.

With different tiers of Artifact Armour to obtain, with the current plan being

AF1
AF1 Myth (Being of the same model, with different textures

AF2 a whole new look set of AF gear, similar to how FFXI added in new sets.
(I'd wager an AF2 (+1) similar to how we have AF1 Myth gear currently happening here too, or perhaps they'll do something more interesting than a token system, who knows~
