Summoner help

I have a question for the high level Summoners out there.

I have currently, a i90 equipped Black Mage which is my main focus role so all my Myth points go towards gearing this Job but i also want to play my Summoner when i feel like a change and want it to be Coil ready.

I had my eye on the Allagan Tunic of Casting but i lose a massive 43 accuraccy and only gain 12 by equipping the Vanya Hat of Casting (which i use on my BLM).

How would you handle this situation? every Darklight piece i have has no accuraccy so i cannot simply replace allagan with darklight.

How did you handle your upgrade path?

Dont need a guide on Myth spending. if i had myth to spend, i wouldnt have even made this thread.

Well, you'll be running T2 until it drops for you. You can only get one win per week so unless you're really lucky, just hang out in DL. Full DL is what people were doing BC in originally so that's fine. You'll also be getting i80 stuff from CT in 2.1 to help bridge gaps.

If you do manage to get the robe, wear it (on smn over DL, unsure of BiS for BLM body but see many wearing it). If you really need the accuracy you can meld HQ ACC/Vanya pieces to make up the difference lost but as long as you are around 470 (iirc) ACC you should be fine. Can also eat food for it.

The only way to handle the situation is to craft something with accuracy on it (pants, shoes, hat, jewlery) or wait for the allagan pants to drop from T4. I've been waiting on the pants to drop for 8 weeks now, never seen them. Eventually I crafted shoes and jewlery.

I was lucky enough to get the Allagan Pants which helps. But overall, you should worry about your DPS stats instead of focusing ACC. When I got the Allagan Tunic of Casting, I replaced my DL Cowl right away. I ran through Turns 1-4 with 389 accuracy, which is not ideal, but I got the job done. Now with more gear drops, I'm sitting at 424 ACC.

Since Myth is out of the question, just go DL. That's my recommendation.

Ok, so you are going to have to make up for it some how. You're making it sound like you don't have any acc gear at all. DL ring and allagan ring have acc. If you get boots of casting from T2 you can use on both BLM and SMN for more acc. Heros belt for more acc. You have options. You just need to use all your resources to be decently geared and have the acc needed to do your job.
