Linking Square Enix Account to Sony Entertainment ID one time?

The other day, I went out and purchased a PS3 copy of FFXIV. I got home, redeemed the code, and launched the application. At that point it has me either create a new Square Enix account or use existing. So I chose use existing and entered my information. The next screen reads, "This Square Enix Account is already linked to another Sony Entertainment Network ID." I'm confused, logging in to both Square and Sony's websites trying to find out what account it's linked to.

So during beta, I was playing on PC. Once the PS3 beta went live, I had my roommate use my PS3 Beta code on the PS3 not knowing that the Beta code creates a permanent link between the Square Enix and currently logged in PSN accounts. I have been on customer support with both Sony and Square Enix for hours now, and their system will not allow them to unlink and relink it to the correct PSN account. So I am currently out the PS3 copy I purchased along with the inability to play FFXIV on any future Sony system. They told me they can unlink the accounts, but would still be unable to link it to another Sony ID because their system only allows "1 time" links.

In short, Square Enix needs to have the ability, even if only through customer support, to be able to unlink and relink between Sony and Square Enix ID's. Even more so with the PS4 release on the horizon.

Please help up vote this so it can be seen. As it is, the only thing I can do is sit and hope that add this in the future to redeem my ability to play FFXIV the way I've been anticipating for so many years.
