Dexterity Accessories for fishers?

Most gathering accessories only give GP which is useless for fishers.

So the next logical choice would be dexterity. it has been mentioned somewhere that it is the main stat for fishers. Any idea what it might affect if anything at all?

It doesn't.
I pulled up 500 fish with no accessories on, then pulled up another 500 while wearing all iLvl70+ Bard accessories. No difference.

The only stats that matter for Fisher are Gathering and Perception.

• Bait affects bite rate (for example, live bait will result in more catches per hour than a lure).
• Gathering affects if you can actually pull in a fish or not. (probably has a cap, but we don't know what it is)
• Perception affects your HQ chance. (unsure if this caps or not)

Just buy any cheap crafted accessories and meld +3(or 4 depending on the item's meld cap) of each of those stats to them and you'll be golden.
