Regarding PC registration code.

Hello.
My brother has an issue, he can not use his registration code when we bought the game today, it says it's already been activated but we havent even opened it until now and now he cant complete the registration.

How do we fix it?

Is the copy of the game you bought a second-hand copy? Some retailers sadly pass off second hand games as new software - normally this isn't a problem, but for MMOs it means the player is stuck in a no-win situation and end up with a useless piece of software. If it is, it's likely that version was already used to make an account, hence it's registration code has already been registered with SE. Unfortunately there's not much that can be done in such a situation, other than tracking down a brand-new (unopened) version.

There was also an issue at launch where some registration codes weren't working, and I think SE asked those affected to contact them directly to sort out the issue, but I can't remember the details sadly.

It were an unopend version, newly bought in a game store, not a second hand store.
We bought it newly, not opend once.
So I dont understand why it wont work with the registration code.

Few things that you might try
1. maybe something is blocking FFXIV and it does not have access to internet! (check you antiviruss/firewall)
2. Contact store where you got this game, and request money back or to change to a valid one (after all if it say that registration code have been already registered, then it might be "pirated" code)
3. Contact square-enix for assistance (maybe a broken code r something)
Also make sure you enter code correctly (numbers, caps and thing like that, code might be case sensitive

Contact the store and ask for a new copy
