LNC lvl 25 class quest Questions and Lancers - Invalid target interrupting item use

I was starting my level 25 class quest for lancer to continue on and get DRG but when i went to the first npc and he gave me the bottle of fresh spoken blood, when i arrived at the location i was supposed to use it the blood is constantly interrupted and target says invalid target. I've tried relogging, abandoning and restarting the quest, and even reading everything in case i missed so special thing i had to do to get the blood to work - none of that has worked.

Same thing happening to my husband, cant use the item.... Reported bug but no fixes yet

Can confirm this is also happening with me. The bar slides up about 10% then bam, interrupted.

Also ran into the same issue, along with a couple of others trying to do this part of the quest at that time.
Confirmed that re-logging, re-zoning, and abandoning/restarting the quest does not fix the issue.

Right-clicking on the 'destination' causes in-game HUD to blink once, but nothing happens. Using the quest item (Spoken Blood) at/on the destination either from the Quest link shortcut or straight from inventory gets interrupted 5-10% of the way into the casting. No damage or status effects taken.

Yep, this is happening to me also. I believe it is only our server of Midgardsormr.

Same server same problem. I've tried dropping the quest and picking it back up with no luck.

Checked again after the server came back up. It's working now.
