Unless of course you don't place her but I always do

Coming from a main whm who switched to sch recently, I still feel a bit helpless at times when shit hits the fan without me having any control over it. Such as big spikes on the tank in Caduceus. The hardest thing was to start to trust my fairy (when I am not manually casting embrace). It's more psychological than anything else. I just played WHM too long and have yet to fully trust the SCH mechanics. They ARE super powerful though. Especially with high base crit and good CD management. It's just less forgiving if you (or someone else) makes mistakes or wrong decisions.
Well, I haven't found the need to place it on obey yet, I mean, I dont heal coil, and it hasn't presented an issue healnig neither Titan nor dungeons for me yet (as in she moves backs on her own if she's on her active stance, and she nevers get knocked off, if she does she flies back up anyway). I kinda trust the AI enough because I am too lazy to "micro-manage" it (specially without macros for pet spells/abilities) and because it hasn't presented to be too much of an issue on that content, I like that she tops off other players that may not be missing much HP, while I can be busy doing something else (or being even more lazy!).

One question though I have never checked it myself, but does it still cast Embrace (normal heal) while on obey on its own? Or do I have to command it myself?

Only problem with it being on the active stance is that sometimes (almost all of the time) they waste the CDs xD, but then again, meh. :P I can see CDs and special abilities needed to be timed in coil though, or well, alteast it's obvious that used at the right time could help a lot more. But anyway. I prefer the dark arts nowadays :3 (I've also mained a lot of healers on other games)

This is true, though I wouldn't go as far on that preferring part, since b oth can get the job done, and if using two healers a combination of them is best.
