    I refuse to level an alt when the end result should be the same. I am only a "main job" BLM now because I have spent time on crafting. I will never be something comparable in a respectable time frame for another combat class unless I wind up abandoning my BLM to do it, too. This is backwards. This does not reward people for exploring multiple facets of the game. And it certainly isn't casual friendly no matter how much some may delude themselves into believing it's "keeping them close" to people that won't play with them to begin with.

    I refuse to support time gating. If I can't get something, it best be because the content is hard. Otherwise, there is zero point in repeating the content after the fact.

    True that. It sucks that CT is a week loot lockout but it should have been 72hrs ( I was hoping 1hr) ; ;

    don't get me wrong. i do not mind an established game having a log lockout. i do have a major issue with a new game having that same lockout.

    in other words after a game has been out a while and there are tons of content and options on what to do i don't mind not running something over and over, but when a game first releases there is only a fraction of the content needed to keep a playerbase. when a game first releases everything they have in game should be able to be ran like av and cc were in 1.0. give a small lockout after clearing, but have a low droprate. it keeps people playing that content, but allows them something to do other than sign in and run something once and then log out because there's nothing else left.

    I played FFXI for a long time so I'm use to lockouts but a week is just stupid. If the loot Lockout was 72hrs I could live with it. But this doesn't have much End Game content to keep most of us playing more than a few hours a week. Drop Rates make them low that's fine as long as I can run content over and over and be rewarded with something I want phil/myth can burn in hell.


    People want to bring up the "Well you should have burned through content" crap again. What happens in 6 months when everyone (Causals) are in the same boat most of us are in with these lockouts and only logging In a few times a week?

    And I don't see why anyone should be crying about who burns through content to fast, Do you pay their monthly subs? Start paying my subs and I won't ever say a damn thing about "there's not enough content". I would rather be able to burn through content at my pace and have nothing else to do, Than to be told I can only do it so many times per week.



    There will be other content in 2.1 you say? Lockout on Extreme Primals loot too. PVP you say? Sounds like fun punching someone in the face with my MNK, But if I want to PVP I'll hop back on some BF4

    If anything they need to change the lockout to per job. I so wanted to keep playing but with stuff like this I can see where the future of this game is going and its not good.
    2.2 we'll be in the same boat.


    Locking out gear which is not BIS is not helping the casual players in playing gear catch up like Yoshi wants.

    Like I said, instead a weekly loot lockout (not dungeon lockout), a 5% dropchance for loot would be better.
    Maybe not 5%, but something like the droprate from darklight body in 1.0. And after 6 month, change it to weekly loot lockout with increased dropchance and the people would be happy.

    AV and CC, day for day, week for week, month for month, only with the hope that there could be a darlight gear for you now ^^
