Huge Chat Log

So I don't know if it's just me, but before I got kicked last night due to the maintenance, I had the standard minimized chat log that stopped at the edge of a PS3 hotbar, but now the chat log even minimized takes up half my screen, which is inhibiting me from viewing people within my party, or even the timers on my L2 Directional pad hotbar. So I don't know what happened between last nights maintenance, and this morning's log in, but is anyone else having the same issue, if so this needed to be fixed due to the fact as a alt healer and tank role, I will not be able to participate in dungeons because I will not be able to see the agro meters of the party, nor their health.
