There should come a namechange

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see who ever agrees with this.
My main reason I want this to happen is because you can get a gender / race change but cannot change your name, wich is rather silly if you have a guys name and become a female and visa versa.
All I see about negative comments is people say others will grief, but that is a bunch of bull. Because if people want to grief they will find other ways instead of using a paid name change (Like server transfer).

It'd be pretty cool if they added that. Just as a tip: if you're planning to change servers and want a name change, make a character on your destination server with your toon's name. You'll have to change your character's name before loading in once the transfer is through.
Only helps if you're transferring, but it's something at least.

If you've been paying attention to the letters to the dev, he's already stated they're looking into this (as the 2nd poster said).

At the moment you can rename a character. It does cost $18.00 (or 1800 Crysta), and you have to transfer your character to a server with a character of the same name already in existence, but... You can rename your character.

They are looking into releasing a way to Rename characters (Probably a Namingway reference from IV and IX), but at the moment, this is planned for 2.2 or Later.
