immersion?

this topic made me laugh.

When you play an MMO immersion is KEY because you are devoting huge amounts of time to the game.
Kinda like when you watch a tv show -every- week, immersion in the story and connections to the character are a necessity.
If you watched only half of fringe once every 2 weeks the show would not be enjoyable.

immersion is making the game feel like a game and not a job.

Well speak for your self but i don't play mmo's to feel like i am in the game i enjoy it for what it offers. My whole 7 years of Xi i never felt my self immersed into the game i just loved playing with people and getting items. You couldn't get me to do a single story line mission unless it had a good reward @ the end.
