With Pet Macros as part of 2.1, you Scholars won't be forced to drag 2 Bards in the party! Cheer everyone as Selene, whom is rarely used for her 'Random' Silencing, can be much more easily controlled and you can use her to Silence on command without 'Micromanging' the pet hotbar!
