Please becareful with developing FF14

What keeps me here is no concern of yours but... what keeps players like you here is simple, you refuse to ask for something more. Now if players like me that you disagree with leave than what makes you think the game will stay afloat? The more that leaves XIV the less chance of it being a long term game that you and I and everyone else can enjoy. AS Yoshi said he wants to attract a broad audience, if he in fact meant this than he needs to keep to his word and players such as your self need to also accept it. This game has potential but yet other players dont want to unlock that potential for what ever reason/s.

You talk about a broad audience but all you seem to want them to do is cater to your endgame needs, how is that catering to a broad audience? I would say YOU need to accept that what they're adding in 2.1 IS for a broad audience, not just the I'VE DONE ALL CONTENT AND AM BORED!!!! crowd.

So true!. I do have another character named Pseudopsia Kite that has all level 50 classes from 1.0. I decided to create a new character for ARR and take my time having fun rather than grinding all jobs out all at once. He should look at my date joined

I can login Pseudopsia Kite tonight so she shows up in character search tomorrow

Which makes me wonder why you continue to play. The rest of you post I didn't need to know because it wasn't apart of what I was asking.

No not just one side as the current game dose there is room to do both if the dev's want but so far everything point to "they dont want to". Currently probably 99% of the game goes to casuals and 1% goes to hardcore player or high end players (whatever you wish to call them). The issue at hand seems to be a big issue not just in XIV but other games is, that 1 group crys if something is too hard or they cant get it right now. Why cant the other players accept that we high end players get something to keep us busy because in the end did Yoshi not say he would nerf old content? I dont see the issue if in fact he keeps his word and dose nerf the old content when new content is released.

Well dont be rude, not everyone lies but to me 2.1 dosent add anything new for players like myself. We are not asking for much (well maybe some are) but as players have said toss us a bone, I dont think that is too much to ask.

Pointing out its flaws is the 1st step to improving something. If I blindly accept everything even though I or you or whoever can see the flaws is not helping the dev's at all, because than nothing will change. Ask for more, ask for improvements but dont ask to be handed things easily. Yes some things should be easy but at the same time some things need to pose a challenge to players. i do wish I could continue speaking with you all, you all have been very nice I must go to work so on that note. Every one have a great day, and hopefully a better understanding for all side's.

What I like about XIV is the ability to be all you can be meaning all jobs if I choose to which I have, and that this game will offer something completely new that caters to all player types, that no other game has. I know SE can do it they have done it in the past, that is why I keep pushing for more than the same ole same ole. I have played the final fantasy series going back to the nes days and loved every minute of it minus FF13. I know they can do it but its a matter of when.
