Again if you notice I said (if you have another character). Than if this is true you should understand how I and others feel yet you dismiss how we feel for whatever reason you have. This dosent mean that what we say isnt just as important, it means you should try to understand and find common ground with everyone, which I try to do but I also understand it isnt always easy.

Well dont be rude, not everyone lies but to me 2.1 dosent add anything new for players like myself. We are not asking for much (well maybe some are) but as players have said toss us a bone, I dont think that is too much to ask.

The time it took SE to rebuild the game engine and servers sacrificed a lot of time they could have spent making new content. SE can't please the type of gamer that devotes a lot of time into MMORPGs right now. SE decided to cater to the more casual crowd with the first patch to please casual and new players to have more of a solid foundation. I knew full well of the direction during the beta. It's going to take a few patches till there's a lot of content in ARR, 2.2 is for the more hardcore crowd expanding Coil, however I doubt this will still be enough. All I can suggest for your type of gamer is to either play multiple games to fill your time or take a break from FFXIV.

What exactly is it you want from Square Enix?

With 2.1 you're getting new quest lines, daily quests, a revamped fight, an entire raid, two hard mode dungeons, a new dungeon, housing, treasure hunting an more.
Assuming that everyone in Tokyo is 'sitting with their thumb up their ass' when they've already explained that they're almost a month behind schedule on releasing patch 2.1 due to the technical difficulties on launch that needed to be addressed first is just down right rude.

They have in the works multiple layers of development teams working to bring the content out as fast as they can, as Yoshida explained simply that each 'layer' of the development team focuses on producing a certain area of the game [Critical Bug Fixing/Adjustment / Patch 2.1 / 2.2 / Expansion Pack] all work at different speeds and produce different results, but all of them to attempt to adhere to a schedule, but as with any game development things don't always go to plan.

There is new content, just because it doesn't suit everyone doesn't not mean it's a waste and that "My opinion matters more, SE fix it to suit me!" everything they're adding has a certain value to everyone (even those with every class leveled).

You will never satisfy everyone, some will want it harder, whilst others will want it easier. Some will want it longer, some will want it shorter. Some want it pink, others want it white. It's just the way it goes.

There is plenty of time to absorb the feedback they've received for this three/four month old game and apply that to future developments, but the content they've already promised they would add comes first, and they're deliviring that promise in 2.1 and 2.2.
