To be able to look as cool as you want (choose armor/clothes)

Okay i was just thinking my guy looks super cool in the weak gear that i picked up along the way of my "adventures" now I'am a paladin, and the way the game is. it kinda forces you to wear these bulky suits if you want to survive a boss fight. and i don't necessarily want to wear a crown or look like the typical paladin at lvl 50

So i was thinking if the gear we try on gets saved to our characters so that we would have a list we could just scroll down and pick the style we want to be seen in (from headress to boots) but still have that effects of the strong armor we just got from a quest I.E

if you are familiar with DC universe than you know what im talking about

They are releasing a wardrobe option in patch 2.2 in a few months or so. You will have to wait until then. Hold onto that gear that you like. Doing it the way DCUO did it though would require them to restring every peice of gear to be able to add it to a list which at this moment is not a feasable option.

I believe he's referring to the vanity system which is currently planned to be introduced in 2.2.

Well it'd be nice if they did follow DCs example in this one area. DCs vanity system was pretty well set up, anything you've worn, you can wear as a "style" even gave rewards for collecting whole outfits. You could toss the actual item and the style would stay with you on the list(s).

I worry how SE is going to do this because they seem to do weird stuff sometimes, like the whole communication/ inviting thing in dungeons.

I'd like to think this vanity system will work out but to be honest unless its like DCs (or something close to it) I will be let down.

Oh well, we will see what happens...

yeah see that's exactly what I'm afraid of. they can never get it right the first time. They might do it but make it super weird or something.
They need to implement "exactly" what dc universe did.
