    error unable to access server for version check

    I keep getting this error when I try to start up the game. I can't find any info on it. Can someone please help me?

    Something is blocking you from connecting to the update server...

    Please post your system specs, and follow the outline in the Welcome to Technical Support stickied thread. We need to know your network configuration and ISP.

    You can get some of your info by opening your FFXIV config utility from the start menu, hitting the SYSTEM INFORMATION button, then copy to clipboard.

    Ok this problem is fixed, for anyone else who may have this I had to make a new user account on my comp and start the game that way. Don't know why or how but it works.

    question is how did you get the crazy but smart idea to make a new account lol. anyways happy it work now you just make that new user admin and delete the other one and your good to go.
