Where was written that you can't use 3 healers (as example) in a premade group?Anyway, am I the only one that's disappointed with having to use 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 dps even in premade groups? Where are all the "if you don't the like duty finder, you don't have to use it" people now? Not only do we have to use it, but we're forced into the lame-ass DF party composition now too?
"Players can access the Crystal Tower via the Duty Finder either solo or in a party of up to eight players. When forming a party, players must first meet the class requirements of the Duty Finder before registering (two tanks, four DPS, two healers). Once registered, players will be matched with a group of 24 players to enter the Crystal Tower."
I'm sure they did this to stop people from griefing. Without this rule, people could form a group of 8 DPS, for instance and then hinder the other 16 players.
Because people couldn't grief with a preset party right! Not like they could, ya know, slow down on purpose or something if they want to grief."Players can access the Crystal Tower via the Duty Finder either solo or in a party of up to eight players. Gotta love SE logic. People can soloheal Titan HM, solotank Coil 1-5, but they must have 2 healers and 2 tanks for a dungeon that's geared towards way lower iLvl than those two.

I sometimes wish people would use their brains for a moment to actually ponder as to why S-E went for this approach for now. It's not hard to understand (agreeing is another thing) what the reason behind this is.Anyway, am I the only one that's disappointed with having to use 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 dps even in premade groups? Answer
Preventing people from clearing the instance with a SR build. And to avoid conflict with other parties through duty finder
Case 1 - Full 24 made alliance
Something we were all expecting to be available. But obviously they postponed this.
Reason: We've seen from experience that people will look for the perfect ultimate party composition. Which certainly would have happened here. Creating some new forms of CT Speed runs. (Random example: 3 tanks, 3 healers, BLM/BRD only for AoE damage)
Case 2 - Current case of 1 premade party
Obviously because we aren't getting the above situation. This leads to us being forced to fill the standard party.
Reason: It would otherwise mean that everyone can create random parties.
Results into -> Random PT #1 + Random PT #2 + Random PT #3 = Holy mother of randomness!!!!
Basically, it will just make people queue up and leave the instance the moment that an alliance of "WTFRandom" enters.
All of this is simply to give everyone an equal chance of doing this content without getting things like WP SR.

If you don't want to use the Standard Party Composition, in 2.2 they were planning to allow you to make your own alliances to funky challenge this thing.Anyway, am I the only one that's disappointed with having to use 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 dps even in premade groups? It's cool that the tank gear is unique. But I can not get excited about rolling on that for my Warrior.

Also, at 1:24, you can clearly see a Dragoon wearing the ugly blueberry armor. Again, very lame. I think I'll stay out of CT with my Dragoon and just keep leveling my warrior to be able to do some crystal tower runs.
Yes the WoL is always portrayed as a warrior/fighter thus it being the tank gear. Drg is a light/med armor wearing class. Yes the drg could look better, but I think it goes back to one of the early FFs. Not sure which one but it reminds me of a concept art. Actually I just thought of the hand drawing of Kain's son on the cover of FF IV the after years where he's some kind of drg/pld cross class or something. Never played that one so not really sure.
They might not be dyeable but remember CT gear will be the 1st that will work with the vanity system. Whenever that is getting put in
