I miss my miqo'te GLA Path Companion Imarah too - having a chocobo fight for you just isn't the same.
I think the issue Yoshi had with them is that they were designed especially to allow players of all classes (including Disciples of the Hand and Land) to play through the storyline and complete story quest battles (it's the same reason we also had that awful 'Parley' minigame as well), which is a different direction to what he wanted for ARR. However, I really hope they are brought back eventually as they really complimented the storyline and gameplay as well. That and their comments were downright hilarious (when you Path Companion snaps back at Ifrit after he tried and failed to temper them you know they're something special.).
i miss my Miqo'te CNJ companionshe such a sl*t
What the hell is a path companion?
Just imagine, to those saying that the chocobos replaced them: If we still had them, we could have our companion out and ride our mounts at the same time. I'd settle for having my choco out and being able to ride my path companion too.
Nah seriously, imagine it.. whichever model was smaller could ride in front on the chocobo (mine was actually atalalafell)
Shield Lob (Can change red text to Tomahawk and it will work perfectly Warriors)

Better "macro switching", give it a read: http://tinyurl.com/ffxivhotbars
