    I agree, but when you get stuck with a group that isn't very good, you can spend the entire time limit trying to get past the 1st boss. I wouldn't mind that so much, but it happens a lot. The mechanics are good but it's only worth doing if you do the dungeon with people who've already done it, but you're grouped with people doing the story missions. It's the same with Qarn. If you get stuck with people who don't speak your language very well, explaining the mechanics is very difficult. If they're just not-very-good players, explaining the mechanics isn't very useful as they probably aren't going to be able to do it anyway.

    If they removed this dungeon from any form of progression and made it an end-game dungeon, I'd enjoy it. I'd love it if they made it harder, as long as I'm not always doing it with people who have level 20 gear and don't know how to AoE fruit no matter how much I explain it.

    I have to agree, AV kicked my ass as a new player while on Pld. My gear was crap and I thought I knew everything. The other party members gave me so much crap instead of trying to explain the mechanics it almost made me quit. I have cleared it several times now on Brd,Blm, and Whm (all df groups). I've found it helpful b4 the run begins to ask the group if they know the dungeon and if not try to explain the pulls and the boss mechanics. If that doesn't work tell their sorry ass to leave DF, get another player and kick some ass because we have a dungeon to clear!

    I dont know man, maybe you are the problem. I dont want to sound like a elitis jerk (omg you noobs dont knw anything! and stuff like thart) but I did it the first try with my pally and was easy. I consider my self an average tank. You should check a guide in youtube, they are awesome and always help.

    I agree that AV is way out of scale compared to the other dugneons in the game. If for no other reason than, there is not really enough time in it for errors. So you basically turned it into a dungeon that is not friendly to players who are still leveling their first character.

    Its even worst if you get 0 ranged DPS for the last fight. My groups almost always whiped there because most of the time my group was filled with dragoons, and monks, or worst... summoners. It was a total pain. I ended up wasting all my mana trying to kill the adds myself.

    If they added another 30 minutes to it, I would say that is a good fix.
