    That is understandable, perhaps this is not for you then. It is targeting people willing to help and be rewarded for it, I would recommend WP speed runs.

    The same exact thing that you are doing right now... The system will be implemented so the high level players will queue for low level dungeons and the new people could advance in the main story. Sorry if you wanted to profit with your friends about it but is not going to happen at least for a few month

    This was just one of many, this game has a lot of forced/encouraged solo play. I have never been in a game before this one that required me to drop party so often. It is a bit better now at end game, but like I said this is what I was looking forward to, and gaming with my friends is the top reason I do it by a lot. Thus i am starting to feel outside their target. Our FC was looking forward to some 24 man crystal tower too. Oh well.

    There are 3 new dungeons in 2.1 that you can run for your Myth. Not sure if CT will also give some Myth tomes, but that could even make 4. Then there are also the Beastman dailies which give tomes I think?

    The ability to do the duty roulette as a group is honestly retarded. What's the point of adding a feature that (at least that's what I'd think it should do?) is supposed to help lowbies get dungeons faster as there's little reason to return there at high lvl when you fill the entire party with high lvls using the duty roulette?! This feature should add high lvls to the low lvl dungeons that are missing certain members. However, making a system that actively accomplishes this probably goes way beyond what SE is capable off it seems, so yeah, perhaps it's best that you roulette with 3 others because otherwise the system would let you queue up for Satasha for 2 hrs because nobody actually needs it at the moment.

    Nop, the inability is because this system is for the people that got stuck at some dungeon on the main scenario, so if SE let set up a premade party to go into the random DF will make all the principal objective useless

    The reward is for incentivizing people to be willing to run dungeons they might not otherwise, not so much to increase the rewards for what you're going to do anyway.

    First world problems when we rage about something not being implemented yet even though we know it is going to be implemented. seriously, why are you upset when you know it's coming? the implementaiton is obviously not as simple as you apparently think it is or they would have delivered it in time. The Duty Finder is primarily designed to match individuals anyway, who are the majority of the people using it, so they decided to release this feature in 2.1 rather than delay it and make a larger number of people happy. So would you rather they not implement this feature now? Not implementing it now isn't going to make the party feature come sooner.

    I honestly don't mind the randomness of Duty Roulette anymore, Crystal Tower on the other hand... Despite not having a large Free Company, I find that prospect complete bullshit. Has there been any news on PvP at all yet? If that is putting you together with random people as well... I remember stuff about your name being hidden because apparently we're all five, but Christ, if you can't even enter with three friends...

    What's the point of this being a MMO? The social aspect is completely lacking... If you have friends, great, enjoy probably not being able to play with them as much as you like. If you don't, enjoy going through random automatic groups with people you will probably never see again. Want to join a Linkshell with helpful people? Tough, the only people you're going to meet are people in the Duty Finder, people who in all likelihood aren't even on your server. Not until you get up to Chimera for your Relic will you actually have to interact with your server, and then that's it until Coil. Nowhere prior to that does the game require you to ever interact with other players on your server, but it should, that's part of the joy of a MMO. Meeting new friends and continuing to play with them is the whole damn point...

    It's sort of like the old "Give a man a fish" proverb... Give a man a party (through the Duty Finder), he plays for a day. Teach him how to party... OK, this really sounded better in my head... I'm sure you get the idea though... People who log on and use the Duty Finder (because that's all the game teaches you) wont stick around for long, people who log on for their in game friends though, they are the ones who stick around... The game should be focusing on making players form groups, not handing you a group at every turn...

    Maybe I just have an insanely irrational hatred for the Duty Finder (I do), but I really think they should be focusing this stuff onto the new Server Boards function. Lets say you're a newb who needs to beat the storyline Garuda fight still, I imagine getting help with that is quite difficult. Duty Roulette would have you paired up with complete strangers you'll never see again. If you could instead give the same rewards through the Server Board, complete strangers who are definitely on your server will help you. What's more, they'd have to send you a tell asking if you need their help, rather than entering an instance through the Duty Finder to stone cold silence...

    (I agree with what's been said about it defeating the purpose of the roulette if you use it with a partially pre-made group)

    I'm not sure why anyone would use duty roulette if they didn't want it to work that way. The nature of it is taking a random chance. It's just an added feature. You will still be able to use df normally the way you always have been.

    who is this game targeting? Me! I run lowbie dungeons as my whm and warrior just because I know there is a lack of tanks and healers. With this I will earn stuff while doing my "good deed of the day"
