Housing: Wallpapers and Statues

I think once we have housing, they should allow us to customize the walls by putting images. For example, for our FC, we should be allowed to put up random photos of the members. I would very much like to have a painting of my toon wearing a military uniform with medals, kind of like a dictator painting.

On the outside, we should be able to put up statues. Maybe it can be a craft that you have to take up. I know its a bit extreme, but it would be awesome to have statues of just about anything you want in or around your guild housing.

If someone already suggested this, I am sorry, I didn't mean to double post.

Exactly - Yoshi already responded with a similar answer a while ago about using custom images for FC logos, and they stated it would be far too difficult and time consuming to have to moderate every piece of art that is submitted by players for use as their FC logo to ensure it meets the guidelines of the ToS and EULA (not being offensive or infringing on copyright).

Hence why we're locked to using combinations of default premade artwork. It would be the same thing with housing pictures and statues.

I loved the random, hard to figure out quest in FFXI where you got paintings for your house as reward. Also the little mini-statues for certain events

FFXIV:ARR's character profiles can be viewed on the lodestone in full, so I don't see why we can't have our own magical self portrait in our FC house that updates once per day as well.
