Well I'm working on armorer today and plan on getting finished with it. I have plenty of leves saved up and prefer to take the easy route, ingots. Crafting them is easy enough, buying them is even easier. Hq mythril going for around 500g each and the quest pays out 1,000g. Make a profit, great exp. hardest part is going from the levemete to the guy to turn it in.

Even easier and more EXP when you make it yourself but to each his own. I just buy the mythril ore and make HQ ingots. BSM and ARM were the most painful to level iirc. Alchemist and Culinary were definitely easiest.

Well you certainly get more exp when you make the item yourself but to say its easier to make them than to buy them I'd have to disagree. Like the poster below me I level a craft then a DoW, then craft. When you're sitting on 100 leve allowances its quite easy to buy 30 hq mythril ingots for 15k and get several levels in your craft and make 100% profit on your quests. I can't say I miss the exp I would have gained sitting there grinding on ingots when I'm getting over 60,000 exp for turning in one that I bought.

I can't say I miss the exp I would have gained sitting there grinding on ingots when I'm getting over 60,000 exp for turning in one that I bought.

I have to admit buying is very nice when you're lazy or don't have time to make it. I got tired of crafting apple juice to level my culinary and checked my marketboard to find a lucky stack of 99 of them for 18gil each. Though crafting ingots 100% HQ would have net you 6k EXP while you're under the recipe level and you use all NQ mats means you're missing out on 180k EXP as well but it does save time.
