    2.1 and us

    So as healers, SCH or WHM, do we fear or expect or anticipate any changes to our classes in 2.1? I know they haven't SAID anything yet, but they have said it's not their policy to reveal things about class changes until the actual change is in place for the most part.

    Anyone have any gut feelings or guesses? Just curious.

    I don't think so. I personally have no gripes over my class(WHM).

    I feel, and I haven't played a SCH yet, that they're pretty balanced. Of course in different ways but if they were the same what would be the point.

    **EDIT**
    Someone mentioned CureIII....completely forgot about this skill because it is 100% worthless in it's current state. So yeah..only change I would hope for is a slight range increase. OR, maybe a larger single target heal spell. Maybe a CureII+Regen spell?

    Raise, I really really really hate that they're in the battle field, they're targetable and show alive and yet heals won't hit them for a certain amount of time. Maybe i'm doing it wrong or not realizing something but clutch heal and instead of it hitting them it just heals me and they take an AoE, dead again. Gruaaah!!!

    Well they mentioned the SCH pet abilities being macro-able with 2.1

    Other than that maybe some slight tweak on underused abilities, but except the macro on pet actions I don't really expect changes.
    But hey who knows. Would be a nice surprise to see the couple of quirks being adresed.

    As a Scholar I would like to see a radius boost on whm´s cure 3... and a cattle prod to actually make Eos obey me.

    I'm looking fwd to pet macros because this means I can finally make a macro for Selene's buffs -> immediately put it on obey so she doesnt constantly spam the wrong buffs.
    Its so mind numblingly idiotic when you do the skill speed buff and she herp derps the spell speed buff while your other 3 party members are all DOW class e_e

    I remember them saying they will be fixing the vulnerability issue with the animation on Raise, Resurrection and any limit break that resurrects so I guess that can be considered a buff?

    Personally, I would like to see Cure III have more range and perhaps a slight increase in healing potency because right now, I find it only useful when the party is stacking but perhaps that was what the development team had intended it for...

    Besides that, I don't think the White Mage will see any other changes.

    It's pretty obvious it's intended for stacking not wide-range usage. Maybe also "It cures the tank and the melee too!"
    It just doesn't really do the latter because the range is so tight, though.

    Sorry, meant tweak. Raijinken covered the point below. I think they could tweak Raise to have different animations depending on area. Similar to consuming food. I can just toss out food if it expires in dungeon whereas, if nothing is going on, I sit and watch myself nibble.

    With Raise, we don't really need the "tractor" animation (borrowing from FFXI there) or the body up in the air animation (or at least not both).
