    For those of you who interpreted the rollover period as starting at level 1 with the subscription, that was my mistake, I neglected to state a starting point. I did not intend for it to mean that the full 2000 tomes or so would be available immediately upon hitting 50. Were it up to me I believe I'd have it start with either the first myth tome earned or the completion of the storyline quest - I'd have to think a bit more about the implications either one might have.

    This would make the most sense to me, although I think either way you'll end up with some people having more myth tomes faster (as you're probably not putting myth on full grind as soon as you hit 50).

    We have a difference of philosophy or perspective (I'd probably favor the cap carrying over more if I was unable to play every week...) but I do believe that a weekly cap strikes a reasonable compromise between being nonrestrictive on players and rewarding those who do play.

    I think that was the OP's point. There are numerous situations where other events in your life will take priority over the game, and it would be nice for SE to acknowledge that by adding some flexibility to the myth cap system. It would have no impact on maximum progression levels, and it would make the game more appealing for adult gamers.

    As a person who CAPS MYTH WEEKLY. I think this would be a good implementation. It would in now way allow anyone have more gear than anyone else if implemented right, and would be more flexible for people who either get busy weeks or weeks away for vacations, job, etc etc, without seriously impacting on anyone else (except those players who want to be special snowflakes because they can put more time constantly, which really, capping myth doesn't take long at all, in fact, it can take you well under 2 hours.)

    But anyway. IMO, if they were to implement it they should make it towards were your myth allowance starts counting once you're elegible to aquire the mythology tomestomes (i.e. once you have a combat class at 50), and to not make it too flexible, maybe have the allowance hard cap at 1200 (4 weeks worth as of today's cap)... And if well, you want to be annoying and protect SE's finance, make it only increment while subscribed.

    And I think I haven't left anything out, aside from the usual non contrsuctive comment such as: "Stop trying to be a special snowflake and get mad if someone else gets something which relatively doesn't matter nor won't affect you without exacly doing it under the same circumstances that you did", or something along those lines.

    This would also be perfectly acceptable. (There are a lot of ways to solve this problem and a thousand variations of each of those. I don't think anyone would be too overly picky about which was chosen, so long as one is.)

    why even bother with coil if all you have to do is play another game for 2 months, log in for a day and spam 13 minute WP runs and end up with the same gear? the way the system works now doesn't punish you for not playing, it just doesnt -reward you- for not playing.. which this would be doing. Its bad enough myths are far too easy to get, but now you want it so you dont even have to actually play the game to get large amounts of them.

    it makes perfect sense.. the OP suggests making the rollover keep up to 2000 points.. that means you can cancel your sub for months, resub for a couple of days, burn 13 minute WP and have the same number of myth items as someone who was playing the whole time. thats just silly.
