Thavnairian Mist Bug

Is anyone STILL having an issue with NPC Auriana? My issue this morning was a little different than the earlier reports. I logged out last night with 587 Myth Tomes (+300 capped). Logged in this morning with 887 and tried to purchase 2 Thavnairian Mists from the vendor. ONLY one dropped into my bag. When I attempted to buy the second, it stated I don't have enough. Now I'm down to 287 Myth tomes. Where did the other 300 go?

Most people are buying a Mist and also receiving 1 random head piece with this bug. I checked my inventory, no random gear.

Either I didn't receive my weekly cap of Myth tomes, or I was charged for 2. Ticket already sent. Anybody else?

I think the issue is, you logging in with a magical 300 tomes..so when you tried to get the 2nd one, you didn't actually have the points for it since you apparently logged in with more tomes than you logged out with - Unless you mean you logged out with 887?

No..your wording was just confusing because you worded it like you logged in and magically had 300 tomes, as in didn't do anything after logging out with 587 tomes. Based on your wording, you had tomes you actually didn't have which is why you couldn't buy the item.

That's...not how reset day works.

When you hit your 300/300 weekly cap, you can't earn any more. When the weekly cap reset occurs, your weekly cap resets to 0/300. You aren't magically awarded your 300 tomestones during the reset time, you're only granted the opportunity to go out and earn 300 more. You obtain your mythology tomestones when you earn them, they're not "banked up" and then dispensed on reset day or anything like that.

I guarantee you that if you logged out with 587, you logged in with 587, unless someone else played your account while you were asleep.

You're reading your character sheet wrong.

The weekly number of Stones is a seperate counter, detailing how many you've made that week. Those are not in addition to the total amount listed on the left. 587 with 300/300 means you have a total of 587 and none left to acquire that week.

No bug here, just a case of 18 inches, a.k.a. user error.

OP if you are being serious, obviously it was a mistake, and Square caught it. You don't just get 300 free tomes for nothing.

No DRG for party, camp spot site with 300 dmg tomes, but is it for 200 like 300 dmg tomes when you no hit be it for dd, for 300 dmg tomes instead? or half is 100 for 200 dmg tomes?
