I'm a low level monk, but my touch of death and fracture dont benefit from greased lightning stacks or twin snakes at all?
Are dots even useful at level 50 in that case?

You have to apply them after the buff is present.
If you're at such a low level where the buffs still fall within the same 5% natural difference, you'd have to get a bigger sample of numbers.
The buffs might only add 1-3 damage per tick, which won't be noticeable with a small sample size, and small damage numbers.
They do a shit ton at high level with internal release you will get 700- 850 dps from all that dots each one
just . . . 2100-2550 dmg every 3 seconds from DoT only. I don't want to know how many mobs you have to DoT for those kinds of numbers, nor how much of your main rotation you'd have to drop to apply them.

DoTs do benefit from Twin Snakes, Greased Lightning and Fists of Fire. They also benefit from Internal Release and Blood for Blood. They do NOT, however, benefit from Dragon Kick's debuff (though any initial damage, such as Fracture's 100 initial potency, does.)
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!

With 3 stacks of GL and fist of fire my 3 dots do about 150-210. When I put up IR and BfB and apply the dots again the baseline goes up to 200-300.
