CM and Praetorium are good dungeons if you are looking to upgrade in to some Darklight armor. As a new tank, always prioritize your body and leg pieces first. You should be able to handle most dungeons. Wanderer's Palace and Amdapor Keep will be challenging if it is your first time, but you should not have many problems if your group knows what they're doing.

Those two dungeons will drop your 3rd best set of gear, so you are encouraged to find either the Vermillion or Hoplite green sets. Ideally, you will be buying Darklight and artifact2 gear with the tomes of philosophy and myth you're earning. A good portion of those two dungeons is knowing the specific tactics and strategies used. I would recommend watching a walkthrough for the dungeon, but I can outline the trickiest portions for you.

First, pick up a lvl50 weapon. You can purchase 1 from your Grand Company using Seals, pick up a darklight macuhitl from Wanderer's Palace, or buy/craft an Aeolian Scimitar from the marketboards. Either of these are great options and will help you later on when you're attempting your relic.

Wanderers Palace is the easier of the two. The key to this dungeon is avoiding the big tonberries that will hit you for half your hp in damage. They only spawn at certain points and follow you. Keep an eye on those and drag the mobs away from them as soon as you can. If one catches up to you and aggros, there is a big chance of a wipe. The entire dungeon relies heavily on your dps, you are just pacing it. Try to keep aggro and don't be afraid to use your CDs.

Amdapor Keep is tricky as it requires the tank to mark and prioritize interrupting or dodging specific mobs. Failing to do so results in powerful monsters being summoned or large amounts of damage. Be wary of succubi, cultists, and dullahans. Dodging some of their attacks require you to run behind these enemies or using a stun. All three bosses require specific positioning, so watching a video for them will help immensely in preparing. Once you know what to do though, it is not difficult at all.
