My Experience This Morning

I went to face Titan this morning and after hearing so many horror stories about how awful and tough the fight would be, I must admit I was more than a little intimidated. However, we beat him fairly quickly (or rather, quicker than I expected) and I know we can't name names or anything but I want to express my appreciation for those who helped me along and explained how it's done without getting angry and/or leaving. Any time someone would get knocked off, everyone just sort of joked and didn't make a big deal about it or get snotty. It was an excellent experience and people were very patient and encouraging.

Sounds like you joined an experienced group that probably has other jobs with relics already. They probably queued together as well. I refuse to believe a random df party can beat it fairly quickly!

My FC has done Garuda farms a couple times with 7/8 and DF'd the 8th. When the fight starts we would goof off in chat with silliness like, "It's my first time here," "Mine too! Do I tank her in the middle?" "How often should I spam Holy?" "I can stay in Cleric Stance the whole fight, right?" And after the 8th is good and scared for the worst DF experience of their life, we proceed to knock Garuda to the curb. The DF'd guy usually laughs after the fight realizing we weren't newbs, and highly amused that we punked them. Good times!

Oh man I think we would get along well.

I pug Titan often just to have some fun. As soon as I enter the fight I tell them it's my first time just to see how many would leave. Then I ask if Grand Company weapon and pink gear is good enough for the fight. It's funny when they fall for it but to my surprised none has left early yet. Maybe that shows how much dfers go into the fight under geared that no one cares.

You can beat Titan and be dead entire phase 5.

DF parties (for anything really) more often than not (seems like >90% of the time for me lately) spit out a turd of a party, but every once and a while you'll get a real diamond. Grats on the win, OP.

Judging by OP lvl. i think he/she fight Titan (normal 4 players) and yes at this lvl. hes really a joke. but still congratulation. Enjoy Titan Hard mode when @ lvl.50 sweety ^^
