I searched around and I did not see a post on this... The party system is practically useless. You could probably take it out and nobody would even notice. OR like I said its just me.

Honestly the party system in XI was great.. you could search everyone anyone and easily find the people seeking no matter there level. Breaking down to search areas etc jobs blah blah blah is way to much work and 95% of the time you dont find anyone. If i want a xp gaining party weither it be leve's, grinding, etc. why cant we just have a "flags up" party me read the comment or something? trying to use the system and find a party for a guild leve in a certain zone .. just too complicated and half the time if you invited ppl and said hey im going to this zone to do this wana come? they'd say sure, its better then standing in town.

Just please make it simple and easy to use.. like a 1 shot deal to see the people looking for a party by level maybe? and click there names to see comments? or anything like this.

i assume you are referring to the party search tool, not the party system in general. And if so the party search function would work perfectly fine except the fact that no one uses.

However I do believe the old system of party flags was better due the fact people like to start a task with a full party, not start a task and see how many people turn up later down the line which is what happens more often than not due to the fact less people wish to be party leader compared to people who just want to join a party

The FFXI tool has the advantage to put yourself available to parties seeking people.

The FFXIV tool has the advantage to put the party available for people seeking party.

Just combine the tools and you have the perfect party tool IMO. Have the ability to set your party flag up AND the possibility to look for specific classes/ranks for your current party.

add in an alert system or something that tells seeking people how many parties are looking for someone like you and it will be gold.
people seeking will know when they are being sought an join naturally.

I havnt been able to completly use it bbut does it auto pick up searching people within ur criteria? This could pose a problem where if you know somone sucks but this thing keeps picking them up and you don't want them but what can you do?
