I have a couple questions. Would you mind answering them here?
I'm on PS3, however, I have a PC only feet away from it.
What would be the best way to stream twitch? I don't have a VGA splitter or anything yet,
I wanna be able to record things I'm playing on my TV and PS3 via my PC.

i stream through my pc ... u can use ur ps3 controller on ur pc with a program that allows it ... my friend plays on a ps3 controller on his pc ... so u can stream that way or if u want to stream through ps3 there might be a app through ps3 i know ps4 can stream

You need a capture card like the elgato gamecaptureHD, HDPVR2 gaming edition, or similar to stream consoles efficiently... although PS4 has built in streaming capabilities, a capture card will still stream better quality with more control. a good one will run you about 150.00
You also need streaming software like OBS. Open Broadcasting Software, then watch or read tutorials about how to use it. obs is free, xsplit is pay... your choice
