Sell Gil on the Mog Station

to combat the spammers / cheaters?

Make it like $60 USD for 1 million gil. Don't make anything less an option.
Now Gil still has value, almost double (or more) than what the spammers offer
and your customers can feel secure and safe knowing its official.
Not only would it be official... but it would help fund things......

That's not because someone bought gil unless said person is a moron and doesn't have an authenticator. Only bads play without protection these days. It's like AIDS, only we're talking about a game.

Outside of the vocal "NO" you will get, fixing a high price won't work, RMT will undercut like crazy. This worked in EVE and Tera before it was F2P because they didn't set a price, the in game market did. You bought game time, then sold it to other players on the in game market. Works better in EVE since it's one giant server basically.
