How to fix an open world sound issue.

The problem seems to only occur in the open world during Fates and battles being surrounded by lots of people. Very often the sound effects will cut off for example 3 or 4 paladins all use rage of halon then buffs/debuff/casting sounds plus normal attack sounds effects and the enemies sound effects. The server or game client can't produce all these sounds at once for long periods of time and cause all sound FXs to cut out and go silent. It seems like the client only wants to produce the sound once at a time instead of playing multiple instances of the particular sound effect. There are 2 ways to fix this problem and I will post them as replies.

The first way you can fix the sound effects during fates and such is to allow for a filter which only plays basic sounds like Attack hits, Spell casts,buffs/debuffs for all none party member players. I hear it more with rage of halon then anything. Rage of Halon's sound effect is loud and stands out from the rest of the other sound effects. But I also think attack skills and buffs need to be simplified just for open world none party memebers. For yourself and your party members you can hear the regular sound effects.

The second way would be to allow the client to play multiple instances of the same attack skill sound but make each instant gradually get quieter. for example we'll use Rage of Halon. The enemy and your main character's sound and party member sound take priority so they will be at maximum volume. So I cast Rage of Halon, then 3 other paladins in a fate not in my party cast Rage of Halon as well. My "Rage of halon" is the loudest and every other instance of the sound goes down in volume by a percentage by simulating distance from where you have your "Listening Position". So the client has to fire off 4 rage of halon sound effects, mine is 100% volume, the others are all based on distance. 2nd is 75% volume(Closest to my listening position), the 3rd is 50% volume(Second closest to my listening position), and the 4th is 25%(third closest to my listening position).

Of course there will be a maximum amount of instances the sound will play at any volume but for that I doubt anyone will notice the muted sound effect in all the chaos of a fate. this should fix the sound effects cutting out a lot in fates because the client wont buckle having to play the same sound over and over again plus other sounds over and over again. With the volumes different it would be like playing a completely different sound effect than calling for the same sound effect to play together at once.

I noticed that the background noise in town or camp's is only on the right ear sound channel....don't matter what direction you turn the character or camera :S

The sound cut off is because it reached the sound playback channel limit

For example, 64 sound channels mean you can playback 64 sounds simultaneously.

I didn't know that... I wonder what can be done to fix that cut off then because it's horrible during fates.
