Vanity slots question.

I don't really see the point of a vanity system that doesn't allow you to (appear to) wear what you want. So what if a THM wants to look like they're wearing full plate? Or a PLD wants to tank in a bikini? That's the whole point of vanity system. If I can't stick that battlemage robe on my DRG i'm gonna be upset

I really hope they go back on the no seasonal thing. I agree there's no point in a vanity system that doesn't let you wear what you want, that's literally the point of a vanity system! It's not like people don't already do "serious" things in the bikinis anyway. My first time through Praetorium the tanks were in cascadier outfits - honestly it made the run more fun because everyone was joking around and relaxed. Why restrict the vanity system when people do it anyway? What benefits does that bring?

Where was it officially confirmed there will be no seasonal items allowed? So far the only official restrictions I've heard was vague restrictions on armor weight class.

You know, I could've sworn I read it in a community rep post, but I can't find anything besides a vague "previously mentioned restrictions". So I'm just going to hope I imagined it because restricting gear whose only purpose is vanity seems extra ridiculous.
