My three month sub is up in jan so cancelling now and resubbing later if I like the content...just kind of bored with the game...have till jan to decide so unsubbing now doesn't hurt anyone...

I do hope the coming patch is enough to hold on to folk and bring those who may have already left back. From what we know of it so far, it's a mixed bag of disappointments (CT not queue-able with more than 8 people) and positive changes (salon), so who knows. Keeping fingers crossed, and I hope you and others find reasons to stick with the game.

It was a little more complicated than that but eventually found it. My sub is good through 01/21 so have time to try out 2.1. That will tell me if I will resub.

I find that there is still a lot I want to do. I haven't yet reached Coil, but I do have my Relic+1.

I'm currently farming myth, and when I reach my weekly quota, I level my Chocobo to rank 10 for the sweet Paladin barding, and spirit bond jewelry for gil along the way.
It's at rank 5 right now.

I went into this with the realistic expectation that it would take a year for the game to have a lot of content, and I'm so busy in my daily life I never run out of things to do in game.

I really feel if people truly can't find anything they want to do in game, they simply shouldn't play.
I don't understand all the complaining.

the problem is not that there is a lack of content. cuz honestly. this game has tonnes of it. its just that this game was not designed for hardcore gamers. i mean i just capped all my DOW/DOM/DOL/DOH, I've done all the dungeons, I've gotten all my relics, I've got my chocobo at Rank 10 a few weeks ago, I had to wait a month for server transfers to do coil since there were not enough people on my previous server to do it with. Currently I'm waiting on my static coil party to catch up with me in terms of gear to clear T5. . But regardless, I still enjoy the game. If anything, it's the pacing of the game, not the lack of content that is to blame. This game seems to cater towards people who are working/studying. So that they can at least achieve something in a shorter time frame due to their lack of gaming time without falling too far behind those that play 24-7 (like me, lol). And I totally understand that.


For you guys who say that you have nothing else to do in the game? Then it's better to move on. Because i don't think this is the game for you if you're expecting anything super hardcore. Just look at what they're doing for PVP. Like it or not, there are more casual players than hardcore players in this game. And it's pretty clear on which target audience they're aiming for.

Interesting responses so far to a simple question. To those saying I should just up and quit, I have already paid for time and intend to use it but won't be rushing every week to max out myth tomes like I was. Running ak/wp over and over again isn't my idea of a fun time anymore. Been splitting my time trying out M&M duel of champions on steam to avoid the burnout as much as possible. Not much I can really do with my time since I've done everything I wanted to and can only do coil once a week so not much to do with the rest of my time.

2. Have you? According to the forums no one does End-game. (Not joking either, whenever someone brings up coil as an end point for content people say only a handful actually do it.)

While the "hardcore" population of any MMO is small relative to the majority, it doesn't mean that this content is insurmountable. (and no, I haven't beaten turn 5, though I'm getting closer).

The point is, you shouldn't be saying there's no content when there is content you haven't cleared yet.
