    Bound =/= Binding So why the heck can't we sell the item?

    SE, please fix this. This restriction leads us to wasting items.

    I have a retainer with about 1/4 of its inventory filled with gear and weapons which are unsellable due to the restriction you've created. Binding is not the same as bound. If the item is not bound.. we should have the freedom to sell the item.

    So please revise, "binding" should not be a significant status.

    It's to avoid re-selling and clogging up the market of crafted armour/weapons and tools.
    If people could simply re-sell things once they were done with them no new ones could be sold essentially.

    This is an annoying yet necessary restriction.

    this replaces bind on pickup, and its bind on use instead. Bound might not equal binding, but binding does = used.

    I haven't tried but can we resell to NPCs?

    There's NO difference between 1% bond and 100% bond. This is nothing more than a headache. I think I should have the freedom to at the very least donate equipment to new players.. instead I'm stuck with equipment costing nearly 300k gil.

    It's ridiculous.

    Because people feel it would clog up the market even though the market is still clogged up even though in XI and 1.x it wasn't an issue as the people who sol overpriced stuff never moved items and a lot of people simply gave their friends stuff they no longer use...(shocking I know.)

    ..So in reality it's just to mimic systems people come to expect in MMORPG.

    Ah.. so more evidence that SE isn't really about being unique anymore.. sure the storyline in itself is unique, but everything else is becoming more like just a copy paste of other crappy games.

    Wrong thread hombre, I think you need the melee have it bad in coil thread. On topic, unlike other games you can spiritbond those items into materia and sell that.

    SE... in my protest against the AH, I will never again buy any armor nor weapons from the AH. From this point on I will only acquire gear and weapons from dungeons and mobs. As far as Auction House gear and weapons, they're dead to me.
