They should make an instance with true turn base action

I think it would be cool if there was an instance where true Final Fantasy turn base was incorporated, You could just have a cool down bar that took a while, then you make your decision and then your turn goes after the last guy, it would be cool! Not the whole game like this though, just an instance, to take us back you know?

I like it... but i cant see SE sending the devs to work all that out just for a singular event. This is a bit of a tangent but...

Maybe they could make a mini-game where you collect/craft little figurines of players. Then approach a npc for a retro ff style battle of wits explained as a board game or something like that kinda like how parley works right now. The abilities the figurines are given to use could be selected or depend on the quality of the figure or the rank of the player used to make it.

Not an event, an instance that you could go in every 24 hours or something, like a dungeon or something.

I do agree with the concept though. Mini-games are in desperate need in MMO's, and XIV is no exception. Something like this would be awesome.
