PS3 Focus Targeting?

I was looking up a few things on making macros, and the thing that came up was the focus target. And while it was mentioned that it's in the targeting Keybinding, I don't see it. Was it omitted from the PS3 version entirely, or is there another way to access it?

It is not in the PS3 UI until 2.1

lets you see a targets HP and debuffs without actually having to target it.

for instance, on turn 1 i set focus target to caduceus so i can see the HP of both snakes when they split.

In addition to the above, it's also useful in situations such as the last boss of Wanderer's Palace, if you're on add duty - so you can keep track of King Tonberry's rancor stacks without targeting him. And just generally keeping track of things bosses are doing when your attention is needed elsewhere.
