The things in which I crave as a gamer are good company, respectful co-adventurers, and a Free Company that allows me to play as I like without pressure.

Because the nature of the MMO game is that new content comes out - there will always be a new treadmill to climb. That makes it more important (to me) that I have a group around me that is not fixated on that treadmill, but is willing to go on any crazy adventure that may be planned.

Sanctum has been a welcome place to rest my bow at. May your own search for a Free Company prove as fruitful as mine.

I don't see the point in rushing end game with MMOs, they aren't going anywhere! You get there when you get there
What matters to me is a good, welcoming community. Folks here are always willing to lend a hand, even if it's way below their lvl (i.e. a lvl 50 running a lvl 20 instance).

These guys are the best and I wouldn't be anywhere else.

It is refreshing to have found a guild...er FC...where there isn't constant pressure to level level level to get to "end game". It is also refreshing to repeatedly see in FC chat members asking if anyone needs help with anything. I've been mmorpg'ing since day 1 of EQ release (1999) and this is the most relaxed I've ever felt while in a guild and being on line. Zero pressure, ever. Being older, being employed full time, I don't feel guilty if I can't log in for a week, nor do I get any criticism because of it. If you're ready to experience FFXIV with a group of folks who want to ENJOY the JOURNEY, then what are you waiting for?

By the way, in game character is Tharstus Magisterium...just can't figure out how to make that come up to the left instead of Solaris_Stone, whom I deleted.

Just wanted to pitch in on the thread, I'm new to Sanctum (just joined up in FFXIV) and everyone has been welcoming, supportive, and helpful. Players of all skill levels will find something to do and people to do it with. I'd love to see you in game and start making some fond memories!

I have been running with Sanctum for nearly a year and have found everyone quite welcoming. Being a relatively new player to the MMO scene they have been supportive and helpful in my gaming experience. Good people and a good time and I recommend joining to everyone.

Sanctum offers a friendly, relaxed place to game with mature and fun people. I've been with them over a year now and have made some wonderful friends. I joined Sanctum just a bit over 2 months now. They helped me grow from helpless noob, someone who had bought the game purely on recommendation, all the way to a veteran player. When I was at my most lost, as my friend hadn't logged in, Sanctum found me, they guided me from beginning to end, making sure I enjoyed every step. Sanctum isn't an end game guild, they're about the people. They have an amazing community of helpful, caring, and humorous members. I'm proud to say I know these people and that I was able to enjoy the game with them by my side. I sincerely recommend anyone looking for a free company, to look into Sanctum.

Hey My name is Chris! and i'm in search of a Free Company for me and my 2 friends. We played the beta for PS4 this past weekend and now were hooked. We cant wait for its PS4 release in April. I had already purchased the PS3 version of them game while it was on sale in the PlayStation store for dirt cheap but, never planed on playing past the the first free month until my friends said they would play with me when its released on PS4. So currently i'm just leveling and trying to learn as much as i can about the game until then, and figured join a FC would help me out alot. I'm still fairly new to the game but not to MMO's though i haven't been excited or played for a while. I work pretty long hours during the week so cant commit to any heavy raiding. Your headline "Players First, Games Second" really stood out to me and sounds like it would be a good fit for me and my friends when the eventually get the game. Would you guys be willing to to accept us into your ranks?? lol
