It's never a bad idea to get one, but it isn't really mandatory if you aren't overclocking. Given the OP's experience level I assumed this would not be the case. Also, I wouldn't recommend it anyway. It will increase the operating temperature and decrease the life of the CPU for little to no gaming performance gain. Overclocking this GPU, however, is certainly something you want to do. The MSI Afterburner program that comes with it is as easy as moving a couple sliders and the card itself is a beast in this respect. I have the same one in my PC and I run a ~35% OC on it and still never see temps above 60°C.

Also, forgot to mention last night, I do live in the Philly area (Downingtown to be specific), so if you are completely stuck and not too far away I could lend a hand.

I'm not sure if anyone suggested this already but for $400 you could play on PS4 in a few months with likely as good FPS as a midrange decent pc.

Although I have nothing to contribute to this thread, since everyone here has posted excellent computers for you needs, this is the first "help me with a new computer" thread where there has been no "this is better than that and mines the best". Just saying, this thread at least shows me there's still a decent amount of people left here in the community.

Don't leave the PC Master Race!

In all seriousness though, I would never buy a console specifically for an MMO. Mouse and keyboard is a much faster and more precise control system than a game pad. Communication (both in game and voice chat is a pain on a PS3/4. And the big one... You can't significantly upgrade a console. You're stuck with that CPU, GPU, and RAM for its life. With a PC, however, if you have some cash a year from now and decide you want a better GPU it's an easy swap. Then in 2 years when Intel's Skylake architecture hits the market along with DDR4 RAM and PCIE 4.0, you can swap out the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. You can keep upgrading piecemeal so that your rig is always at least mostly current and you're not looking at the lump sum of cash and mad rush at release of the next gen console.

he didn't ask for console advice. and i have both; gaming pc and ps4... and ps4 (with current game releases) graphics aren't even close to PC DX11/DX9. It's basically a ps3 with more polygons and a ton more light sources, from what i see with current game releases. Hopefully down the line they'll get things rolling with better graphics, but the current games aren't cutting it for me. Barely touched my PS4.. still playing PS3.

Wow thank you all so much for the advice!!!
For the ps3/ps4 thing, I did think about it but I'm such pc person and feel more comfortable on one :P
I'm probably going to have to take a trip to microcenter now to see what I could do there >.< because using some of these sites I didn't even think of shipping costs @-@

I totally understand, as I could only play on PC myself as well. I did buy PS3 preorder for the goodies and to link my 1.0 PC account (and also have a "back up" play system). My advice was based strictly on your budget and your game issues. I was just thinking PS4 could be that simple fix. It's specs are as good as my "decent" PC.

Also very very impressed with the lack of one-upsmanship here! Very nice

Building a PC nowadays isn't very difficult. I upgraded mine recently and the only thing i even needed a tool for was a phillips screw driver for the motherboard. Everything else had tabs or large enough screws to tighten with my hands.

For choosing parts and being most efficient with your build i suggest using this website: http://www.logicalincrements.com/

It can seem overwhelming at first but it really isn't. Even newegg.com where you can get some great deals has profressional quality videos on how to install each component.
    Hope that helps.
