My Epic Castrum Meridianum Story

A special shout out to "Havic Manger" -- where ever you are.

Doing CM with 4 experienced people and 4 inexperienced people. Solo healed through the first boss (other scholar fell asleep)

Party KOed the second boss

Beat the second boss
Lost two front cannons.

Beat the third boss
Trained to the four back cannons
Lost three of the cannons
Lost 1 front cannon

DPSes apparently didn't know how to use cannons -- we tried to teach them, but they didn't understand.

Party abandoned except for me (WHM) and tank (Havic Manger) [Paladin, I believe]

At this point, neither I or the other tank knew if there were any cannons left. We jokingly said that we should bravely solo the whole thing to the end... after all, it was just Juvius, I mean, how bad could it be?

I checked, found 1 intact back cannon. We had all the mobs left in front of the last boss to clear. He pulled three mobs. I killed them all with the cannon.

He pulled another three mobs, with one colossus. Colossus took the cannon down to 10%.

Pulled another colossus. Pulled, killed but cannon was taken out and the colossus had 5-10% health left. I start DDing and we killed it.

2 other people join at this point. We apologized and said it was pretty messed up. A SCH and a BLM.

One remaining colossus guard. Center air cannon was used by Havic, down the airship... somehow. Even though the airship was targeting that cannon pretty hard.

2 more people joined at this point. 6 to take out Juvius' magitek, I tanked at first, then a BLM tanked.

Last 2 people joined, full party now... killed Juvius normally within ~20-30 minutes. And done!
