Seriously, can someone give me a source for this? I've heard it from several different people but haven't seen it actually confirmed anywhere.
You're right it wasn't. It was supposed to be out when the game launched. Yoshi-p in an interview before 2.0 was out said that it was ready to go, just that it was waiting for the right time to be implemented. Then mentioned in another interview that it would be out in 2.1. Then a rep said it wouldn't be ready for 2.1.

Pardon the translation, but below is the translation of the link above:
In patch 2.1, Allergan Tome Stone:, "consume more than 1125" the philosophy recipesIt is also possible to say Obi <foot = hand = head <legs = torso, access and Why is not there than funny and not to be (aside to balance with armor) all sites the same amount of philosophy usage In view of the performance You.
I'm planning to fix all aligned to 1125. The current recipe is the one you set on a regular basis, but of everyone after the start of the service was to be adjusted to take into account the situation and play.

Lets see.
More dungeons for mythology farming - Hardly gonna beat 10 mins SR WP.
Crystal tower - lower level gear than allagan/af2. Plus going with 16 unknown people, cant wait for the joy of drama and crybabies.
PvP - hopefully it'll be good even tho i dont think so considering SE background on PvP + latency issues.
What else? oh Extreme Primals, those probably gonna be "fun" (considering we fighting those over and over for what now? 4 years?)

Hyped!

I think we're all holding our collective breath to see whether or not it'll flop. Theres a lot of big things coming, many of which could wind up being incredibly awesome or totally fun-sucking (housing, PvP, etc.)Am I the only one that is actually excited that the new patch is just a couple of weeks away?
All I see is doom and gloom on here, finding every possible negative in every little thing. We've got new dungeons, treasure hunts, the aesthetician, housing and so much more! That's something to be happy about.
I think people should try and keep an open mind and look forward to all the new ways of having fun they could have, rather than worrying about all the potential new problems that could arise.
It's just a game after all, try and enjoy it!
Ya I just can't get hyped for this patch at all. All it is doing is playing catch up, and is filled with decisions I don't like the direction of. Ill be letting my 6 month sub run out most likely if 2.2 doesn't seem like it is going to wow me.
Poor you. You so oppressed.Lets see.

I'm not as excited for it as I thought I would be...
Extreme Primals - I'm excited for this. Hopefully they won't get taken down so easily.
Crystal Tower - I already fear the queue times. Hopefully it won't be bad and hopefully the dungeon itself will be fun. It gives me a chance to finally play as something else besides BLM
Housing - Not sure how I feel about it because I'm still not sure how it works. I like the idea of owning a house for the FC, but how will it work exactly? Can the entire FC be in the house at once? In the same instance?
Daily quests - Again...I'm not sure how this works. If if it works the same way it did in TERA, then I'm actually going to be excited for it. Doing daily quests for beastmen coins to purchase vanity items would be cool. Maybe minions, or a set of gear related to the beastmen you're getting it from. I won't hold my breath though. And I hope they bring back those stronghold bosses
Moogle fight - It was my favorite fight in 1.xx. I hope it changed for the better due to the new mechanics in ARR. Even though I have my relics, I still want those moogle weapons!
PvP - The videos make PvP seem really, really, really boring. No cool mechanics, a small arena, slow ass fights, and small parties. We'll see though! The only PvP I ever enjoyed were the ones in RIFT and Guild Wars 2. RIFT because it felt a bit chaotic and fast paced. GW2 because of the mechanics and the sheer chaos. Never really got into other MMOs so I can't comment on those.
New dungeon and hard mode dungeons - Kind of looking forward to them, but not really. Aside from furniture items, there is nothing in them I'd want.
MVP - w/e it's called now. Seems cool on paper, but I see it being executed poorly.
Vote to Kick - I hated this feature in TERA..I can already see tanks saying "oh so this dungeon requires ilvl 60, but you're only wearing ilvl 60 gear? Guys, kick this clown or I will leave" *gets kicked*. That happened to me way too often in TERA, lol. Hopefully it won't be the same in ARR.
Treasure Hunting - If it works by making actually you do a bit of hunting for the treasure instead of finding a map that basically says "go here and mine at this node to get a crap reward!" then I'm all for it.
aesthetician and proper item sort feature - THE HYPE CANNOT BE CONTAINED!!! YOU CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND!
