Deciding wether or not to get game

I played the Beta and liked it, loved it really. So I want the game, yet there is a bit of confusion with the newer system out. Will the PS3 version of the game not work once the PS4 version is running? I don't have a PC strong enough to play this, and don't see myself getting a PS4 anytime soon.

Ps3 version gets a free upgrade to ps4 version. However once you get the upgrade to the ps4 version you can not play the game on the ps3, only the ps4.

So if I don't get a PS4 buying a PS3 version is not a good idea?

think of it like this if you get the ps3 version you can continue to play on the ps3. But if you upgrade or download however that will be the ps4 version you will need a ps4.

If you get the ps3 version but you decide not to get a ps4, you can still use your ps3 version for as long as you like.
