Reason why DF people fail Titan

Here is my opinion about Titan Hard mode and why people in it fail !

Most of you people are looking at the topic on the wrong side!

For me main reason is that the entroduction of the Primals Hard mode is made in a wrong way and there is little explanation for it ! As a new player witch recently encounter them and passed true them i can tell you this ! So we are basicly not prepared for it at all !
Most of us after finishing the main story are taking the Relic Weapon quest witch in it is really little saied what we gona encounter exactly ! Thx to the main story scenario we get our end set of armor with the quests so i pursonaly tought that it will be similar for the weapon !

I knew that lvl 50 is the last lvl for us and i knew that from the main story we get our lvl 50 armor......how am i suppose to know that there is lvl 60 and above armor sets or that the priamals are lvl 60 and above ! I aske you here why is there a posability to have lvl 60 items when you are lvl 50, for me this is really wrong !
I passed true Ifrit easy, the fight is not hard at all jsut like the normal mode but with little more extra things the Primals do ! For Garuda was ca. the same story !

Now for Titan on witch spots i died !

1. On the later phase of titan on the Stumps, didnt have enough hp and deff....but as monk so and so i have little hp and deff !
2. The Plumps ! This need to be fixed....im the first one to get out of them in the end the other party members dont get hit but me yes ! People say i got some sort of battle lagg well fix it, im really angry when i dodge all the titans atacks and thx to such thing i die !
3.Lack of information and players witch when you ask them they dont explain you a thing but get angry and leave the fight !

I got lucky and was in a really really strong party so thx to them i passed it !

I belive deff = def ?
I have a MNk too and I have 4k-4,1k hp in titan, so I survive well in tulmult, if your hp is low, you might want to re-location your stats.
Have nothing to say about plume beside with the amount of hp I got even lag or get MPK, i wont die by eat double plume

ability to learn fast (learning or memorize) is something to be proud of isnt it ? skill or not is irrilevant, imo. Though I wont say that healing in titan doesnt required skill.

Sadly, in the current generation of online games, it's not common knowledge anymore that people actually GET TOGETHER in groups to do big stuff like Titan in FF:ARR.
Stuff like the Dutyfinder is a tool to casualize MMORPGs, so more Players can do stuff more easier.
WoW did a great job with that idea, but we have to think of the origins.
These Dungeons, or Trials, of whatever you wanna call them are DESIGNED. to be done by a group of players who made a group to achieve just that goal.
That includes at least having a voicechat for everyone, so someone who already has expierience can guide the others.

It's actually MEANT to be that way. Titan is not INTENDED to get slain in the DF.
If it would be different, it would just be as boring as WoW is nowdays.

I like what you said BUT ......... If Titan was not intended to be slain in the DF then the Devs would not have added it on the list . Just sayin .


My opinion Titan is not a gear check . Anyone with Item Level 60 gear can do Titan HM . ( AK gear drops and some WP gear drops ) You do not need DL for it . DL was meant to be for Coil same with Relic . Titan is a Idiot check . Sorry but it is true . Some people just can not do it because they don't have the critical thinking to do it . Nor the memory skills . People today ( typically under the age of 25 ) not all but a vast majority of people think there entitled . So sure a lot of people might have been carried this far in the game because of it . Some resort to buying a titan run because well they "deserve" to have that victory as shallow of one that it is. Others ( typically over 25 ) know what Earning something is . And know that they will try and try and try to get better and make that victory even more sweeter .

Just my opinion like rear ends everyone has one .

Well, maybe I just expressed myself in the wrong way.
Of course, you're right with that.

All I'm saying is, that you can't expect to slay Titan with a DF Group.
It has been designed to be done with a group I described in my previous post.
The Dungeonfinder is an addition to that. But the Titan Hardmode itself was surely not made to just be a DF-Instance

Me as new player i dont have the best gear there it is with main story gear i dont think you will have 4k hp and as far as i saw in the forums monk must put all his stats points into the (STR) !
And about the Plume, if all think like you the the developers should stop fixing bugs and etc. all together ! Get yourself a high end gear and weapon and the bugs wont make much of a problem for you ! Sorry but this wrong !

But if in a MMORPG you cant finish some parts of the game with random people in the game then for me such MMORPG goes in the wrong way !

For me MMORPG is a game in witch i can explore and meet with alot of new people and do the stuff in game with new players witch i just met or help them ! If i cant do that and im forced to finish parts of the game only with group of my best friends in real life then what is the point of the Online game ! Grind alone dont meet with new people, dont help other players !

It should be that more advance and experiance people in the game be able to help the other players, but as you saied it is imposable ! And Titan hard mode witch is bound to a main story quest for your weapon is good example of it !

It is not wrong at all . People who have experience SHOULD help . But they dont . And ill tell you why . Because people are selfish and greedy . Sad but true a lot of people only care about one thing. Themselves . In a MMORPG and not ina clan or free company or linkshell chances are you will get left behind . I am sure you are a great person and a very nice person but nice and great wont get you anywhere in a MMO . Now there are some who are willing to help there are some who try to teach things . Me and my FC we help people out all the time . But there comes a point where up toss your hands in the air because everything you tried to teach someone fails over and over and over again . So what do you do ? You keep trying ! You get better . You take a deep breath and remember this is only a game and is meant for you to have fun . So no matter what someone tells you , You go have fun and keep being you .

Well... Just think about what you just said.
Basicly, you imagine an MMORPG to be coherent with Teamplay and Players supporting each other.
Well that's exactly what it is. You make yourself friends in the game, and put a group up, so you can overwhelm the trials together. You support each other, give one another tips, and stuff like that, so EVERYONE masters it. But most importantly: You do achieve it together
That's how it's meant to be played! You can't do that in the dungeonfinder, because you get thrown together with a bunch of strangers from different servers and regions. And, that too, is not the meaning of your post.

People with experience are nice, and willing to support the younger ones. You just have to look out for them, it's just a question of attitude. That's the way I found into MMOs too when I was just a "Scrub".
