Reason why DF people fail Titan

Firstly there is absolutely nothing wrong with titan fight except maybe the plumes diameter could be slightly smaller or increase the time they go off to give lagged players more time.


The REASON people fail at Titan is because they got carried through the other fights before Titan . For example I just did Chimera on my healer and had to rez the same DPS 3x in a row and had to heal him EVERYTIME aoe appeared .

We killed Chimera and he got the kill .. on to next primal for him to be carried again until he gets to Titan and uh oh no more carry anymore he actually needs to survive to kill heart .

So yeah that is the real reason DF groups fail at Titan .

You have no idea what causes individual people to fail Titan. Could be their connection, lack of gear, or as you suggest, they might just plain suck.

But everyone is different so I don't see why people using the Duty Finder are all just generalised as these herpy derpy noobs who don't have a clue.

I DF Titan sometimes for fun (I know right?).

About 1/5 times I go, the DPS don't know to LB at heart. I've met a few Drg who didn't even know how to set LB yet. At Titan. How the heck did they beat everything else before? How was these even remotely possible?

So every time I go into DF to help out I ask at start if people have LB set and if Drk or Mnk know to use it at heart. Then people get really asinine with me. "Of course I know!" =_=

just an FYI, using LB on heart is not a universally agreed upon rule. I used LB on heart once and got bitched at because our dps was so high, it was wasted. So by trying to be responsible and safe, i got bitched at. instead of complaining about other people's play style, make an effort to communicate more.

I think garuda fight is a tough enough fight to open people's eyes. Titan is more like a connection check if anything.
