The thing is, not everyone can always be on at the same time with each other. Some people just want to do their own things sometimes because we already spend so much time together doing instances. As an FC leader, I put in so much effort and energy to organize events and make sure everyone gets on for Coil that I just want to be able to solo sometimes and not deal with others. The only games I play are MMOs unless a new Final Fantasy console game is out. (I'm waiting for Final Fantasy 15) I also only stick to one MMO because I'm ultra competitive and want to the best I can be in the game I play. (I do the same thing at work)



How do you balance it for different classes? Not every class plays equally and you design bosses for solo content that cannot be solo'd by all classes then people will cry foul. For a PLD most solo bosses would be trivial and any content worth doing should be difficult. This game was built around team play however, it would be better to have a pop item system and limit it to a four man team to take down the monster.Oh god, I hate dailies. I just wish I can tackle bosses solo that has like an extremely rare chance to drop enhancement items. Maybe a rare Materia that has a 5% chance of casting Ultima or something. Have any of you ever played Ragnarok Online? If you have, you'd understand what I mean. Not everybody was skilled enough to solo bosses, but it was possible. Most people would party up to kill the open world bosses, but very skillful players are able to solo them. That's something I really miss.

I'm fine with 4 man content like that too. Also, there's no such thing as balance for different classes when anybody can level any class on their character at any time. They can easily make certain bosses have certain properties that only certain jobs can kill. For example, undead boss that can only be killed using holy or heals.How do you balance it for different classes? Yeah LOL my FC mostly hangs out in Team Speak and just talks about random crap...and how there is no end game group content. There isn't enough open world content...
I miss being able to go duo or trio a really though NM or "named" whatever you wanna call it, that normally takes an alliance to do. What happened to those daysNow everything is carebear easy mode...ugh
I miss having a ton of group content to do. Right now it's trying to setup enough for coil raids (can you even call them raids? All you do is just kill bosses pretty much) and running WP with your fc. That's pretty much it. Yes please and solo content on top of that! We want a complete game full of substance so that we can always work on improving our characters without having to wait a whole week!I miss having a ton of group content to do. MMORPG =/= Required Multiplayer/Coop.
Sometimes people just want to do things by themselves. Other times, they want to play with others. Other times still, they may want to just help people out, but not take on the responsibility that comes with joining a group/FC/static/etc..
Working together shouldn't be forced, it should be encouraged. Things would be so much better if that were the case.
