ARC/SCH Bonus Point Question

So, I got my Arcanist to level 25, with 1 bonus point in Vitality, 5 in Intelligence, and 4 in Piety, and I was originally planning on becoming a Summoner. But after seeing how cool Scholars are, I kind of want to switch. My question is, IF I were to put the remainder of my bonus points into Mind, Piety, and Vitality, could I still be able to play as a decent Scholar or should I just focus on being a Summoner?

I say put it all into mind or 20 mind/10 int if ur gunna use dots at SCH. No reason to put it in vit unless you really want to and def not piety since you have aetherflow

You really should pick one stat and sink all the points into it. Personally, I would sink everything into Mind if you wanted to favor SCH over SMN. If you want to favor SMN over SCH, stick them all into Int.

No since in splitting mind and int on scholar for dots, just level up conjurer and get cleric stance, that turns all your mind into int so you can dot away, then click it off and get back to the healin'.

Personally I went for full VIT. I know people are saying that you are not helping the team by putting points in MIND, but I have been in many situations (or should I say everyday?) that I was hanging by the thread of 100-200hp because tanks wouldn't flash; teammates over pull making me grabbed all aggro trying to keep them up; or some god knows what dumb reason. and those VIT had saved my life many times, which in turn kept me alive so I could keep others alive.

Frankly, it's a personal choice.

But they were also talking about still being able to switch between the two, but SCH as the main job as I took it so still some INT stats for SMN

I know a SCH who's put all points into PIE; he also switches between SMN and SCH occasionally, though.

If you have no intention of going SMN, all points into MND like a WHM should be best.

There was another thread before on this topic between SMN/SCH. If you plan on playing both and want equivalence between MND/INT, then you'll want roughly 20MND and 10INT. In the end though, SMN has a lot higher base INT so you will get more per point out of MND, especially considering Cleric Stance swaps MND and INT.

In my opinion, you should decide what you want to play, when you reach lv 50.

As a Scholar you should put every point into mind.
As a Summoner you should put every point into intelligence.

You can buy a respec tablet from your Grand Company Vendor (costs 10000 of that GC currency).

Putting points in Vita is not that useful (except for some fights), especially if you consider that every point will award you about 10 health - or was it 15? Something like that.
