It is not an toogle-able option, and the same thing happens to everyone, and that includes you
Meaning, you do not need to, and can't enable/disable this option in your client. It will happen to EVERYONE. So, although you yourself can't see your own arrow, your party member actually see yours.

So do not worry, your party member actually knows when you switched target.
