We're pleased to announce the next Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XI focusing on the many exciting updates coming with Patch 2.1! This next Live Letter will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013, from 04:00 a.m. (PST) / Saturday, December 14, 2013, from 12:00 (GMT)!

In this thread we'd like you to specifically pose questions regarding the PlayStation®4 version of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. Will the PS4 version run using the DX11 client? If so, how soon will the DX11 client be available for the PC?

Will the PS4 be on par with the current PC client or will offer some kind of improvements (performance, graphic effects, details)?
If yes, will these appear in the directx 11 version or the new PC's client will offer even more?

Hello!

Will the PS4 version support the new Playstation Feature - the Second Screen? It would be great to be able to "drop" your chat log(s) and / or enemy + party list(s) there and use the touchscreen to select enemies or party members and some other basic controls. Or the map and quest list or even beter - to be able in the HUD setup to move any of the items to the second screen (or at least a majority of them).

Is there anyone way to use the Vita as a controller and have the display show a keyboard for typing?

What will the frames per second be for Ps4? Generally speaking for everyone...will it be a huge difference? Ideally a preview of it would be nice, somehow to be on par with PC frame per second, but strongly doubt that.
