Have any of you guys realized how unrealistic it is to see these birds Burping and Farting? Normal birds cannot do that, and speaking of which, Vesperia has another thread about birds that float in the air!

So Final Fantasy is full of gassy birds? Whats going on here!? We should DO something! This is such an outrage! I hate being Blinded by Dodo farts! Its like my character is getting Pink Eye! That's gross! If a Dodo farts in my face one more time i am quitting this game.

oh yeah... the dodos... DodoFartasy XIV is a major part of this game. Its not more then a joke mob. Sadly its dominating this game (well the all mighty battle-marmots pretty much fill the rest).
This game needs far more creepy ugly and dangerous mobs. with varied moves... the sleep move could be some bird-song instead of a fart too... the fart makes it just stupid.

I know right? If anything were to have an AOE Fart attack, it should have been a Goobue. Now whenever Blue Mage makes an appearance, people are going to demand being able to learn the fart attack, and then they are going to fart on everyone in town. Spamming farts. Oh please, i'd rather people be able to bunny hop..

No this is wrong though! Birds shouldn't be acting like this! Real birds don't fart and burp like this! Dodos in real life are extinct, these Dodos should be extinct form this game too! Ugh!

i dont think its about being realistic... more stupid... And so far ffxiv is more realistic then fantasy.
Cloth, Gear, buildings, surroundings... etc.. the game has a quite realistic approach with few fantasy moments.

The mobs are realistic (almost every mob is), just the sizes make it a bit alice in wonderland-ish. I don't have a problem with that approach. I don't even think anyone would mention the dodos if it was found only at a certain spot (like sheeps mainly) and not the dominating species...

but ... if the implement the bluemage... the "fart" animation already exists, at least for lalafell.
change to DOL and go into stone-throw mode... violá => fart-motion
