I don't understand how it is logically possible that I fail on things that I would need to use basic synthesis on and fail all 4 times. The time it takes to make a stack La Noscean Toast from scratch is bad enough already. Shouldn't need to have to keep going back to make the basics because you fail 3 of them.

Two-words: Game balance.

The trade off for you not having to sit in front of your computer while you craft stacks of items is that some of those results will fail and you have an incredibly low HQ rate. If you want to guarantee success then use careful synthesis, since the speed is about the same. Its either set it and forget it, or 100% success, not both.

first off, i wanna ask same thing, but different situation, hempen yarn as a 50 weaver with careful synthesis 2 and full hq af gear fail 10% of the time

second, i wanna add in, for this game, we do not call it the RNG, but rather the RFG (random f***you generator).....or maybe its just me that feels this way
i make that statement based on hq success, not the quick synth that i knew was bad for success rates

. . . As a level 50 Weaver why are you even trying to HQ hempen yarn? It's just a waste of a lightning shard since you can HQ anything at that tier with NQ mats and you can just buy those from a vendor.
